Machine concepts with high-pressure systems for the use of internal coolant are being used more frequently in the metal-cutting production. To this end, Schwanog has developed flexible holder systems with internal cooling straight to the cutting edge that can be adapted to a wide variety of base holder concepts. The targeted high-pressure cooling aimed straight to the shear zone leads to an improved chip flow and an increased tool life.
